2005 June: La Manga: Exit decisions postponed and position increased. Amazon tanking did not mean I had to stay away forever

Here I am in La Manga Spain in June 2005. I bought $16000 of AMZN at 38 in February 2005 and sold them now in June 2005 at 35 at 10% loss which seems like a good move at the time but over next six months they went up 20%. And two years later had gone up 100%.  And 13 years later had gone up 5000% meaning my investment would have been become 840,000 or  63,000 a year profit

Jesus now with all this cash, I don´t know whether to do nothing tomorrow on the stock market or go all in. I want to bet on NTES and CTSH but I am scared after seeing Amazon tank 20% last week after weak results. What if that happens to NTES or CTSH if I bet 40,000. I will be down at least eight thousand dollars or sixteen thousand if I use leverage. If I don´t bet, I will probably miss my last opportunity for a a big profit this quarter. Should I wait for another three months or gamble. If I am wrong I will wait a month and then get out like I should have done with EXM which shot through the roof when it hit my stop loss cover a week after buying it.

“Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination.”

Oh if only I could cash in the profits from one good bet then I could justify visiting Yaya and renting a place in Caracas for the next few months. I could also think about Australia next year for the winter or Thailand or Venezuela every year after that for the winter.

Lesson or rule learned:

a. Markets may move south on a good stock you should hold on to or add to.

b. A bad quarter for markets may move south a stock you believe should be held long term because management are still on the right track to becoming a monopoly.

Positive Options:
1. Add 30% to your position when your long favoured stock loses 20% after a bad quarter.
2. Convert some paper profit to real when markets are good. Pre earnings announcement, sell all your holding in your favoured long stock. And buy back with 30% of bankroll at a 20% discount on news of a bad quarter.

2005 June - What Tech stocks look good? SYMC INSP IACI. Prioritising use 50d 200d attributes rather than outer group circumstances

Which top stock is heading for their 4th dip in 4 months? I feel these are ready for reverse throws up, SYMC, INSP and IACI. They are touching their 50 day or 200 day moving averages. I will invest 150% of my portfolio for four weeks, the second week in May and then short the same stock 100% or a weak stock that is hitting its 50d or 200d moving average.

2005 May - Exit decisions impaired. Wait 4 more years for spike. Take 200% profit. Bet little to stay in for 6 months.More sexy Aikido moves learned while working in Spain waiting for Yaya

Shorted EXM - Bought NTES CTSH MSFT NITE I will wait 4 years for my favorite sexy stocks to walk back my way before I super snap it up like a true David Bailey. I myself feel lost again. I should be doing something about the sunchild program. I may find a hospital or charity for children in Madrid to appease my need to give. I should have bought today $100,000 worth of shares in RIMM or EXM. I will do it Monday afternoon instead. I should be calling Yaya my soul mate everyday but I am afraid to become lonely hearing her voice. I feel I am not good for her and her mental state. I need to put buy limits on RIMM and EXM and Yahoo. I feel I will lose Yaya and her magical companionship. I fear I will be yet another boyfriend left in another country feeling sorry for himself, just like the one she left in Chile. Nasdaq dropped one percent yesterday but my portfolio has gone up twenty per cent thank to a long gamble position I put on a 100 % leverage $233000 bet on EXM at 21 dolla...

2015 Nov - Change your morals. Bet on those that are betting on enabling humanity over tyranny

I am out of sync and I want to change it. As I am positive person, why do I gleefully celebrate 84 people mowed down in France. Because it may mean my stock short gamble bet may benefit from it. This is so wrong. And morally bent out of whack. My betting actions, from now on, win or lose, have to be in sync with my own positive thoughts. It must match my positive beliefs, words and character when dealing people each day. So if I say it is shocking, then I should bet against that which does not support my beliefs Or I should not short at all so as to not benefit from it. Or just bet when there is no tragic news.  I should only ever be betting long in these tragic moments as that is more positively supporting everyone. As humans, I believe, are inanely good not greedy. So, from out of this tragedy I have learned I should bet long or increase my long bets. from now on, I will bet on humanity over tyranny. "Non resistance, non attachment and non judgement"...
